this morning I blackened in the Obama square in my mail-in ballot, said yes to a bunch of school and parks issues, and stuck a stamp on the envelope. And next Saturday I'll go to the caucus and participate, but I'm still scared.
I'm grateful to those of you who have strengthened my hope by sharing your own.

After reading your post, I've been sitting here wondering why I didn't get a ballot. Then it dawned on me. I'm a registered Independent. I wonder if I still have time to switch?!
I've got to find out.
I understand your nervousness; I have *never* come out for a political preference this early in an electoral cycle. EVER. It's making my all jittery... but I am at the point where I feel I really do need to come out and support someone - and that someone, for me, has become very clear over the past several days and weeks.
Still, it's a really odd feeling.
