When Max decorates...

[CatsDecorate_Lynda.gif]
Can you tell I found something disgusting on the deck today? and yesterday? and the day before?

I'm sure that this is Max's way of showing his love for you Ms. Kitty.

Well reasonably sure anyway. ;-)

Yes, I'm reasonably sure myself, Robin. Thanks for your kind words.

I learned the value of not being loved quite so much last year. Monica, our black and white tuxedo pattern kitty is quite the mommy's girl... she took out an entire bird's nest- parents and chicks- and laid them out on the floor on Ginger's side of the bed. I didn't get a single one- but my feelings weren't hurt.

Lucky Ginger! Poor Joel!

We used to live on the edge of a canyon in San Diego. Our cat, Linus, decided to explore the canyon. She (yeah, we really weren't sure what sex she was) ran back up the hill and through the cat door into the house with a lizard clamped to her bottom "lip." We had to cut the head off to get the thing off. Funny, she went back down into the canyon the next day. Cats can be kind of strange sometimes. Good thing they're so cute and mostly lovable.

This is one of the blessings I have with my cats being 100% indoors--no small dead creatures at my doorstep. But it doesn't seem to stop the hairballs in the floor, which I only discover by stepping on them at 6am with bare feet....

I don't know who's "luckier", Pixie, you or I!
