A Miraculous Device
Here's something I'm thankful for. This is a picture of my brother in the hospital, though wearing street clothes because he's feeling so much better, holding the Left Ventricle Assist Device that is saving his life.
Wow, Joel, that's incredible! What a great gift that would make for him. I'll have to consider it. Thanks. And I did remember his birthday; he should get the card today. And he was still pretty out of it on our dad's birthday, but I sent him a message anyhow.

Beautiful.
HOORAY! Many hugs to your brother and to you, Ms. K!
Don't forget tomorrow is his birthday. (And your dad would have been 100 last week.)
In fact, if you're looking for a Christmas present for him, here's a lulu.
