What a way to begin married life!

Just had to post this. I'd love to officiate at a wedding that began like this!

Joyful! And doesn't that say something about the friends of the couple -- supportive community!

Nothing that dramatic, but for our recessional, The Husband and I pulled on matching "just married" sunglasses and exited to "Here Comes the Sun."

Ah youth.

Now *that* is a joyful wedding!

How awesome to see everyone going up the aisle with such huge grins!

Of course this gives a whole new meaning to the term "wedding rehearsal," doesn't it?

This kind of energy at otherwise "solemn" ceremonies can be refreshing.

Wow! That looks like it was a lot of fun! I think I want to play that for the next couple who asks me how a wedding ceremony is "supposed" to go...

BAAHAHAA!! Now this is why Guy and I did an Elvis wedding in Vegas. We wanted to start our formal commitment to each other as a joyful and fun, not as a drab and yawny an stiff sorta of thing. Brilliant!!

I love it! This sort of joyful excess bodes well for their married life. They'll make it, I suspect.

When Christina and I got married, the priest went through all the usual blessings - prosperity, children, and so forth - and then leaned down and said, "... and silliness." The perfect blessing. Looks like this couple has it in spades.
