What the traditional Christian church has done with those teachings doesn't set well with me.

Hope this helps a little bit. Thanks for asking.Lilylouhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02328027965155428624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30312228.post-23347000580047596772008-07-28T19:37:00.000-07:002008-07-28T19:37:00.000-07:00Sorry to post yet again, Ms. K...can you direct me...Sorry to post yet again, Ms. K...can you direct me to one of your past posts on UUism's relationship with "Christianity?" I am having a very hard time with the term itself (which is maybe why UUism appeals to me). When someone asks YOU if you're a Christian, what do you say? I never know what to say, as I associate "Christian" with the nasty, hateful, borderline mentally ill people who were part of my childhood--you know, the "do as I say, not as I do" and "Jesus hates you because you ______" Christians.

Thanks again for all your help, and for your blog that's illuminated your faith for so many of us.Miss Kittyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13210249894351503887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30312228.post-39621284706897903712008-07-28T19:24:00.000-07:002008-07-28T19:24:00.000-07:00Thanks for the link. Sad, sad, sad that there are folks out there giggling and laughing because some good liberal people got shot.
